1- Mitzvah Day!
- Join us from 9:30 - 12:00 this Sunday morning, October 7th, as we assemble, decorate, and deliver produce baskets to low income Council for Jewish Elderly housing residents. Bus transportation will be provided to Skokie and back. We'll return to the synagogue around noon.
2- North Shore Seminar - special author visit edition!
- Join us for a very special night Tuesday, October 23rd from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 as the North Shore Seminar welcomes author Racelle Rosett.
Who is she?
Those of you who have been through confirmation may have read her story "Shomer" - a class favorite.
Others of you will get the chance to hear this award-winning television and short story writer read from her work and discuss the ways in which Jewish themes play a role.
We'll have dinner together in the youth lounge too!
